Makuti Lodge is set in a tranquil valley bordered by the Cape Mountain Reserve. You can walk from your cottage directly onto the mountain where there are several walks of varying difficulty (Including Myburg's Waterfall ravine, renouned for its disas in summer).
Situated approximately 4km from Constantia Nek, it is also within 2km of the World of Birds, and 6km of the Hout Bay beach & village with its many restaurants.
Cape Town city centre is a 20km drive away along one of the most beautiful coastal drives anywhere in the world, and the Constantia shopping centre and peninsula wine estates are within 10km.
Owners Doreen, & Peter Wright welcome you & your family to share in their piece of paradise. They are able to give excellent advice on walks in the mountains and tours in the winelands. On occasion wine-tastings are held on the entertainment terrace or in the cellar for wine enthusiasts
